The Bowie Co. Sheriff's Office has confirmed that the body found in the Sulphur River earlier this week is that of 63-year-old Elizabeth Ramsey. On Wednesday two fisherman discovered Ramsey's body floating in Lake Wright Patman near Doddridge, Arkansas. Authorities say they were able to identify Ramsey's body through dental records. A local man claims to have been shot by a stranger near Downtown Shreveport. It happened in the 1300 block of Louisiana Avenue at about 10 pm Saturday night. 48 year old Sidney Willis was approached by a black male wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt. The hooded man started cursing at Willis and then shot him in the right forearm.
A Bossier City man is dead after crashing on Interstate 20 in Shreveport. It happened just west of the Fairfield Avenue exit ramp at about 6:50 Sunday morning. 24 year old Gregory Shackelford's Mustang was found crashed into an overpass. Gregory was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still working to determine what caused the crash.

Two bodies have been found in a boarded up home on Lakeside Ave. Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, police said they found a deceased woman and man in a home in the 1800 block of Weinstock Street. Cpl. Marcus Hines said a family member came to check on the male living in the home and found him dead. They then called authorities.
